Hey Betty, your tips are brilliant. I run the NO STRINGS Cabaret & Burlesque show in Norwich and get a lot of emails from new performers who don’t even send a photo! There’s some ‘schools of burlesque’ out there that don’t teach the basics of applying for performance slots or even care about the future of the art form for that matter. Your piece is spot on.
